• 2 time South Dakota state champion in the shot put
• 2 time state leading discus thrower for South Dakota 
• 10 time Southern Conference champion in shot, disc, weight, and hammer
•  3 time team MVP for Appalachian State  
• 3 time most outstanding field performer for the Southern Conference 
• Coached at Div 2 Lee's McRae college for 2 years  2 conference champions, and 10 all conference athletes  
• Volunteer coach at Appalachian State for 2 years - Assisted with throws 
• Coached at Central High school in Fresno for 4 years
• 12 athletes qualified for Valley with 5 top 5 finishes, 2 State qualifiers, with a 5th place finish in the discus last year for a sophomore  
• Started coaching at Buchanan High School in January 
• USATF Level 1 certified coach 
• Certified USATF official
