Promoted to assistant coach in January of 2011, she was originally hired as Cal's Director of Operations on Feb. 5, 2009. In that role, she was responsible for planning team travel and maintaining the program's budget while serving as the team liaison with the academic, financial aid, and business offices. Dorr has also served as a co-head coach for the Golden Bear Volleyball Club 14-1 squad from 2009-10.

In April of both 2010 and 2011, Dorr worked the Junior National Team and High Performance Tryouts. Dorr was instrumental in the USA A2 team tryout in February 2011 as part of the statistical analysis team. Additionally, she served as an assistant coach and technical coordinator for the USA Junior National Team in July 2010 for the NORCECA Championships in Tijuana, Mexico, where the US team won Gold.

Prior to arriving at Cal, Dorr served as an assistant coach at Georgia Tech for the 2007 and 2008 seasons. Working primarily as the offensive coordinator, she helped guide the Yellow Jackets to back-to-back 20-win seasons with a 21-10 record in 2008. Dorr was responsible for developing scouting reports and game-day offensive play sets as well as the technical development of outside hitters and middle blockers.

In addition to her coaching duties at Georgia Tech, Dorr provided direction as a recruiter, travel coordinator, and as an assistant camp director. During her tenure, her efforts helped the Yellow Jacket program raise over $12,000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation as a part of Dig for the Cure breast cancer initiative.

Dorr arrived at Georgia Tech by way of Texas A&M, where she was the director of volleyball operations from 2005-06. During her time in College Station, Texas, she also worked as the tournament director for the 2005 NCAA College Station Regional and other home tournaments for the Aggies.

While living in College Station, Dorr served as the head coach of the Brazos Valley Volleyball Club from 2005-06. Her coaching experience extends further as she held a post as head coach for the Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club in Lake Forest, Calif. from 2004-05.

In 1999, Dorr was the starting setter for the Rainbow Wahine as a freshman where she earned All-Western Athletic Conference second-team honors. She helped lead Hawai'i to a 29-2 record, an NCAA regional semifinal appearance and a No. 8 final AVCA ranking in her first season. In her four-year career, Dorr took the Rainbow Wahine to two NCAA national semifinal appearances, two No. 3 rankings, and a 123-12 record. She earned All-WAC second team honors three times and finished her career ranked fourth all-time for Hawai'i with 3,540 assists. Dorr was selected to the WAC All-Academic team in each of her four years with the Rainbow Wahine.

Dorr's first collegiate match was a 3-0 (15-8, 15-7, 15-5) win against Cal on Sept. 1, 1999, at the Recreational Sports Facility in Berkeley, Calif. She had 33 assists to go along with 12 digs and three kills on five attacks. The match was also the first at Cal for former head coach Rich Feller.

Dorr graduated from Hawai'i with a degree in business administration in marketing in 2003. She then worked as a sales and marketing executive for KHNL and K5 Television in Honolulu before leaving the islands to play professional volleyball in the fall of 2004 with Brandenburg VCO in Berlin, Germany.

Dorr resides in Danville, Calif. with her husband, John, a former All-American swimmer at Cal. The couple has twin daughters, Lily and Piper.
