Join the fun and come team up with the Cal Bears Baseball program this off-season and have your game taken to the next level. The Cal Baseball coaching staff will be offering clinics throughout the fall, winter and spring.
All Cal Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you choose a camp that fits your level of development. All events are subject to change based on NCAA and Covid-19 restrictions. Due to high demand and limited capacity, prices are subject to increase as camp exceeds 25%/50%/75% capacity.

Head Coach - Baseball Michael Neu
Cal baseball called on a familiar face to write its next chapter as former Golden Bear pitching coach and major league pitcher Mike Neu agreed on July 5, 2017 to become the 11th head coach in program history.

Assistant Coach - Baseball Noah Jackson
A 2003 graduate of California, Noah Jackson is in his third season as an assistant coach on Mike Neu’s staff. It is Jackson’s second stint as an assistant coach for his alma mater, having spent the 2015 season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Golden Bears. Jackson serves as Cal’s recruiting coordinator and additionally works with the Bears’ hitters and outfielders. He returned to Berkeley in 2018 after spending two seasons in Stockton as an assistant coach for Neu at the University of the Pacific.

CAL FALL/WINTER/SPRING CAMPS AND CLINICS
The Cal Baseball Program offers a variety of camps and clinics during Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring. Games Camps, Identification Camps, Skills Camps, and Specialty Hitting and Pitching/Catching programs are offered for a variety of ages. Dates and hours of camp are posted on a continual basis, so check back frequently to see the latest offerings!

CAL BASEBALL SUMMER SESSIONS OVERVIEW
CAL BASEBALL MINI PROSPECT CAMP
This camp is designed to give prospects the opportunity to show off their skills in all areas of the game to Cal staff and be evaluated at the same time.

- Age Group: 13-18
- Schedule: Sunday. 12:00 pm-2:00 pm
CAL BASEBALL SKILLS/GAMES COMBO CAMP
The Cal Baseball Games/Combo Camp is an All Skills Camp which covers the basic fundamentals of the game in the morning and games in the afternoon each day.
- Dates: June 10-13, 2024 | June 17-20, 2024 | June 24-27, 2024 | July 15-18, 2024
- Age Group: 6-12
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday
- Camp Type: Day Camp, 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Half Day, 9:00 am-11:15 am. Half Day, 12:45 pm-3:00 pm.
- Aftercare 3:00 pm-5:00 pm ($60)
CAL BASEBALL DEVELOPMENT CAMP
This camp is perfect for players in this age group who are looking to improve and advance their game as they look to compete in high school.

- Cal Speed and Agility 3:30 pm-5:00 pm

BASEBALL SKILLS/GAMES COMBO (Ages 6-12)
Camp runs 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday. Half day options are available from 9:00am-12:15pm, or from 12:45pm-4:00pm. Extended care is available for Full Day and Half Day campers and runs from 4:00pm-5:30pm
The Cal Baseball Skills/Games Combo Camp is an All Skills Camp which covers the basic fundamentals of the game each day with Game Play in the afternoon. Instruction will cover the fundamentals of Infield play, Throwing, Base running, Outfield Play, Hitting and Pitching. In addition to skill and drill stations, the campers will also have the opportunity to play games in the afternoon which will emphasize the skills taught earlier in camp. Cal Baseball coaching staff believe in a combination of serious skill development as well as drills devised to enjoy the game and enjoy the process of getting better. Campers will be broken up into drills and teams based on AGE (not ability level). Teams for any game play will change throughout the week. Estimated Daily Schedule is subject to change.
***Schedule will alternate daily so the half day campers receive equal Skill/Drill and Skill/Game sessions
BASEBALL GAMES CAMP (Ages 6-12)
Camp runs 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Thursday. Half day options are available from 9:00am-12:15pm, or from 12:45pm-4:00pm. Extended care is available for Full Day and Half Day campers and runs from 4:00pm-5:30pm
The always popular Games Camp will include game play both in the morning and in the afternoon. Campers will be divided by age and placed on teams to compete. Call Baseball coaching staff believe that this low pressure atmosphere with an emphasis on game play is important for learning. This camp is popular for those looking to learn by continuous play. Campers could play as many as 4 or 5 games per day. This fun environment provides opportunities to improve game speed skills and practice game situations. Teams will be changed daily and from morning to afternoon. Coaches will allow campers to team with a maximum number of friends as well.
The Cal coaching staff hopes that in addition to developing baseball skills the campers continue to develop a love for the game.
In order to offer breaks there may also be hitting stations in the batting cages or video breaks.
ADVANCED SKILL DEVELOPMENT CAMP (Ages 13-16)
This camp is perfect for players in this age group that looking to improve and advance their game as they look to compete in high school. This camp has been especially valuable for those players transitioning to the 90 ft diamond. The atmosphere is station and drill oriented in addition to controlled scrimmages. Players will be run through position specific drills and a hitting circuit in the morning. The afternoon will include a drill circuit and controlled scrimmage.
The camp runs from 9:00am-3:30pm. Campers are required to bring their own lunch to camp.
The optional Speed and Agility Program is offered for the Advance Development Camp Only and runs from 3:30pm-5:00pm each day. The cost for this program is $65 for the week.
PREMIER PROSPECT CAMP (Ages 14-20)
The Premier Prospect Camp is a two-day event that will take place at Evans Diamond. Day one runs 1:00pm-4:30pm, and Day two runs 9:00am-12:30pm.
This camp is designed to give prospects the opportunity to show off their skills in all areas of the game to Cal staff and to be coached and evaluated at the same time. Campers will receive exposure to the Cal baseball culture and philosophy, be coached by Cal staff and personnel in all areas of the game, and also have the opportunity to play in games and compete with other prospects on the same field that the Golden Bears compete on. Campers will receive a Cal Baseball shirt.
INFORMATION PACKET
A detailed camper information packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The USSC/Cal Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature, and they will be available to complete online.

CAL BASEBALL WINTER SESSIONS OVERVIEW
CAL BASEBALL WINTER BREAK CAMP
This general skills program will include all aspects of baseball: fielding, hitting, pitching, baserunning, and game situations.

- Age Group: 8-13
- Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday. 9:00 am-12:00 pm (12:00-1:30pm Aftercare-$60 for the 3 days)
CAL BASEBALL HIGH SCHOOL PROSPECT CAMP
This camp includes prospect workouts and live games. Attendees must be set to graduate high school 2025-2028.
