Camps are open to any and all entrants and only restricted by age and number of campers.

    Head Coach Michael Neu

    Cal baseball will call on a familiar face to write its next chapter as former Golden Bear pitching coach and major league pitcher Mike Neu agreed on July 5, 2017 to become the 11th head coach in program history.

    Damon Lessler comes to Cal as an assistant for the 2018 season and will assist head coach Mike Neu in a variety of areas in his first season as a Golden Bear.

  • Assistant Coach Pat Shine

    A longtime coach at the major league, minor league and collegiate level, Pat Shine brings a wealth of experience as he returns to coach in Berkeley for the second time beginning with the 2018 season. As a member of head coach Mike Neu's staff, Shine will work with hitters, infielders and manage Cal's overall team defense.

  • Assistant Coach Noah Jackson

    A 2003 graduate of Cal, Noah Jackson returns to his alma mater for the 2018 season as a member of head coach Mike Neu's staff. It will be his second stint as an assistant for the Golden Bears and Jackson will work with hitters and outfielders while playing a key role in Cal's recruiting efforts.

CAL BASEBALL FALL PROSPECT CAMP (September 15, 2018)

Our Cal Baseball Fall Prospect Camp will consist with baseball players ages 14-18, who aspire to play at the collegiate level. We will create an excellent training atmosphere designed to maximize each players potential.Players will receive individual instruction and participate in live competition. Camp is designed to give high level prospective student-athletes the opportunity to learn from and play in front of the University of California, Berkeley Coaching Staff. 

Camps are open to any and all entrants and only restricted by age and number of campers.

After mini camp ends campers can view Cal Baseball team scrimmage game live on Evans Diamond

Other events on campus that day include Cal football taking on the University of Washington at 3:30PM

FALL HITTING CAMPS (September - December, 2018)

Session 1: September 17,24,October 1

Session 2: October 8,15, 22

Session 3: October 29, November 5, 12

Session 4: December 3, 10,17

Ages: 6-13

Times: Three consecutive Mondays from 6 p.m.- 7:30 p.m.

Limited to 35 Players per Session.

Cost: $150 Per Session

THANKSGIVING WINTER SKILL SHARPENING CAMP (NOVEMBER 19-20, 2018)

Cal Baseball is pleased to offer a 2-day, 3-part Winter Skill-Sharpening Camp. The days will be split into three segments: hitting, defense and pitching; you may select one, two or all three of the skill sessions to attend. Each session will be two hours in length and include individualized instruction from the Cal Baseball Coaching staff. For each individual session, the fee is $100, or, for registration in all three sessions, a reduced fee of $250 is offered; the registration fees cover BOTH days of the camp. 

Dates: November 19-20, 2018

Ages: Two Segments - 6-12 and 13-18 years old

Price Per Session: $100 

Price for all three Sessions: $250

Ages 6-12 Schedule

Hitting: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. ($100)

Defense: 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. ($100)

Pitching/Throwing School: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. ($100)

Ages 13-18 Schedule

Hitting: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. ($100)

Defense: 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. ($100)

Pitching/Throwing School: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. ($100)

CAL ADVANCED CAMP 

The Cal Advanced Players Camp is for players ages 12-16.  We will create an excellent training atmosphere designed to maximize each players potential. Players will run through simulated Cal Baseball drills along with live competition.  Spaces are limited so you don't want to miss the opportunity in attending.

Ages: 12-16 years old

Cost: $195 (includes Cal Baseball shirt and lunch) Time: 9 am - 3:30 pm

PITCHER/CATCHER PROSPECT CAMP (JANUARY 15, 2018)

Cal Baseball is offering a pitching and catching clinic for all high school and junior college aged players. This camp is designed to focus on the skills of both pitchers and catchers and will feature first-hand instruction from the Cal Baseball coaching staff at a NCAA Division 1 venue.  Attendees will have the opportunity to both learn from and perform for the Cal coaching staff while enjoying all that Evans Diamond has to offer. This camp will be held rain or shine. 

Date: January 15 - Monday

Ages: 14 and Up, plus JC Players Welcome

Cost: $100 (11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.)

CAL WINTER ELITE IDENTIFICATION CAMP (DECEMBER 2017) 

This camp will feature a college style workout including individual defensive skills and workout by primary and secondary positions, on field batting practice with drills and skill instruction in batting cages, a facilities tour, lunch and simulated games in the afternoon. Graduating Class of 2020-2023.

Age: 12-16 years old 

Cost: $150 

Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

POSITION PLAYERS CAMP - (JANUARY 2018)  

The camp runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
