    Head Coach - Women's Lacrosse Brooke Eubanks

    Eubanks, head coach of the women's lacrosse team at Cal, spent previous seasons as the assistant coach at Stanford. She has also played for the Canadian Senior National Team.

  • Jennifer Porretto Cal Girls Lacrosse

    Assistant Coach - Women's Lacrosse ​Jennifer Porretto

    Jennifer Porretto, a two-time team captain at Ohio State, is in her first season as an assistant coach at Cal. Porretto previously served as a volunteer assistant coach for the Buckeyes for the 2016 season.

  • Paige Soenksen Cal Womens Lacrosse

    Assistant Coach ​Paige Soenksen

    Paige Soenksen, a 2017 All-American at Colorado, has joined the California women's lacrosse coaching staff for the 2018 season. Soenksen led the Buffaloes to a 16-4 overall record, including a perfect 8-0 record at home, last season and the program's first berth in the NCAA Tournament.

Camp Details

Directed by Cal Head Coach, Brooke Eubanks, the Cal Winter Lacrosse Camp is a great opportunity to advance your skills and take your game to the next level.

This camp is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you choose a camp that fits your particular skills and level of development.

Camp will be held on the beautiful campus of UC-Berkeley. Designed for emerging and elite high school players (ages 13-18) looking to showcase their skills to college coaches. This program focuses on advanced skills, position play, team concepts and an overall intense level of competition. Campers also have the opportunity to compete daily in games against each other.

DAY CAMP AMENITIES

• Lunch & Dinner • Reversible Nike practice jersey

A detailed camper registration packet containing check-in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers prior to camp. Our health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp. 

CHECK-IN
Check-in takes place between 1:00-2:00pm on January 4th.          

CHECK-OUT
Camp concludes at 7:30pm on January 5th.

CAMP WILL FEATURE

Emphasis on individual skill work such as: Dodging • Shooting • Body positioning • Defensive footwork   

Emphasis on small sided play such as: • Double teams • Setting picks • Offensive movement • Marking cutters

Scrimmages and Games: Where campers can implement the skill work they learned throughout the day in a competitive environment.

• Stick • Goggles • Mouth guard • Turfs/sneakers • Water bottle

SCHEDULE

Friday, January 4th

  • Field Session 1: 2:00-5:00pm
  • Dinner: 5:00-6:00pm
  • Field Session 2: 6:00-9:00pm   

Saturday, January 5th

  • Field Session 3: 8:00-11:00am
  • Lunch/Rest: 11:00-12:30pm
  • Field Session 4: 12:30-3:30pm
  • Heavy Snack: 3:30-4:30pm
  • Field Session 5: 4:30-7:30pm

Meals: Lunch and dinner is included for Day Campers. Meals start with dinner on the first day and end with dinner on the second day. No meals on Sunday.
