Cal & WashU, two elite academic institutions, come together for a one day high school prospect clinic! at Cal Soccer Camps
For the first time in history, a Division I and a Division III soccer program are coming together to host this 2019 high school prospect clinic on the renowned Cal Berkeley campus. Play like a Bear! The hard part? How to decide if you want to be a Cal Bear or a WashU Bear.
Per NCAA rules, Cal Soccer Academy & Camps are open to any and all entrants. Enrollment in our camps is limited only by age, gender, and capacity restrictions as specified by each camp.

Washington University Head Men's Soccer Coach Joe Clarke
Joe Clarke has continued Washington University's tradition as a soccer power, having led the Bears to a 241-117-50 (.650) record in 22 seasons. Clarke, the head coach at Saint Louis University for 14 years, was named WashU's sixth men's soccer coach in May 1997. State of the art facilities
Join us in for a rigorous full day of soccer training in the famed Memorial Stadium on the Cal campus. Players train with the Cal and WashU coaching staff and experience a day in the life as Golden Bear and Red & Green Bear soccer players. If you are interested in playing college soccer, this 2019 ID Camp is for you.
2019 One Day High School ID Camp Information
Cal and WashU coaching staff lead players through physically, technically, tactically, and emotionally demanding training sessions. By day's end, you will understand our winning philosophies, training methodologies, and how our demanding environment set us apart from other programs in college soccer. Spend the day with other high level players who share your passion for the game while enjoying, learning, and competing which will have you truly understanding what it takes to be a student athlete.
At day's end, there is a Q & A for all. Ask about the recruiting process, how to balance your time between class and practices, team expectations, how important it is to be a leader, etc. Bring your questions!
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: High School Soccer Players interested in playing in college.
*Open to boys, ages 13-18
Sample Daily Schedule
- 8:30am Check-in
- 9:00am-11:00am Training
- 11:00am-1:00pm Lunch (Players have the option to pack in a lunch and eat on campus, or go off campus with their parents.)
- 1:00pm-3:00pm Training
- 3:00-3:30pm Q&A (ask about the college soccer experience, the expectations, recruiting process, etc. Bring your questions!)
