Cal Field Hockey to run new winter field hockey clinic

Cal Field Hockey Winter Clinic

Cal Field Hockey, a division of Cal Sports Camps, has announced the addition of a new winter field hockey clinic at UC Berkeley. Already Cal Field Hockey Camps hosts multiple adult field hockey clinics, tournaments, and youth camps throughout the year, however this new addition will be the first to include other universities and colleges in attendance.

The UC Berkeley field hockey clinic will be organized by Associate Head Coach Austin Pile and will take place at the state-of-the-art Underhill Field. He currently organizes the adult clinic series and tournament that take place in the fall and winter each year and offers teams the opportunity to compete against each other.

This winter will be the first time a field hockey clinic will be offered to girls and boys from the age of 11-18 and allow them to train in front of multiple collegiate level coaches. Schools expected to attend are Cal, Northwestern, University of Delaware, Davidson College, Earlham College, Goucher College, and Vassar College. During the evening, campers will experience technical drills and live game play geared towards their skill level.

Players, coaches, and parents interested in the clinic can visit Cal Field Hockey Camps or call 1-800-645-3226.
