UC Berkeley Offers 20 “CAL Sports Camps” in San Francisco Bay Area this Summer
CAL Sports Camps, a network of youth sports camps operated by US Sports Camps, is returning to the Bay Area this summer with 22 camp programs spanning 15 different sports. Players from Northern California and beyond are invited to attend the camps, geared towards helping each player improve their skills through a mixture of drills, games and spirited competition.
Cal Sports Camps continues to provide athletes with the unique opportunity to train with Division 1 college coaches, experience college campus life, and get a taste of what it is like to compete as a Golden Bear athlete.
This summer the annual summer camps in Berkeley, CA will include programs in the following sports: baseball, basketball, crew, field hockey, gymnastics, lacrosse, rugby, track & field, softball, soccer, volleyball, beach volleyball, water polo, swim and tennis. These Bay Area day and overnight camp sessions vary in gender, ages and skill level options, with options for 5-year-olds through age 18, and beginner through advanced.
“The Cal Sports Camps are some of our most popular camps and it’s no secret why” says Steve Pence, President of US Sports Camps. “The coaches and staff continue to deliver a top-notch camp experience every year with a high level of training that allows our campers to grow and compete in a fun and safe environment.”
All camps utilize the state-of-the-art athletic facilities on or around the UC Berkeley campus such as Underhill Field, Haas Pavilion, and the Hellman Tennis Complex.
